Beachfront Shared Dorms
Our shared dorms are designed for comfort, connection, and budget-friendly travel. We offer dorms for 3, 4, 5, 6, or 8 guests, with a mix of bunk beds, twin beds, double beds, and capsule-style options.
Each bed includes:
Privacy curtains
Personal reading light & power outlet
Individual locker (bring your lock)
Rooms come with either a fan or air conditioning, and shared bathrooms are located just outside.

A Stay That Feels Good—for Everyone
At Playa 506 Beachfront Ecolodge & Hostel, we believe in balance. While we do enjoy good vibes and social moments, we also respect our guests’ need for rest. That’s why we kindly observe quiet hours from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am. Want to keep the party going? The beach is just steps away and open all night.
We are a smoke-free property. In line with Costa Rica’s Law 9028, smoking is not permitted inside our rooms, restaurant, or common areas. If you wish to smoke, feel free to step outside the front gate or enjoy the open beach area.
At check-in, we collect a refundable $20 cash deposit, which covers minor incidents like lost keys or late check-outs. It’s a simple way to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
Forgot your toothbrush or shampoo? No worries—we have most basic toiletries available at reception.
