Our shared dorms are designed for comfort, connection, and budget-friendly travel. We offer dorms for 3, 4, 5, 6, or 8 guests, with a mix of bunk beds, twin beds, double beds, and capsule-style options.
Each bed includes:
Privacy curtains
Personal reading light & power outlet
Individual locker (bring your lock)
Rooms come with either a fan or air conditioning, and shared bathrooms are located just outside.

Beachfront Private Rooms
Private rooms at Playa 506 are a great upgrade for backpackers traveling solo, in pairs, or small groups. Whether it’s a simple double bed, a 3-story bunk for friends, or a family-friendly setup, we’ve got you covered. All rooms have A/C, some with private bathrooms, and yes—they’re pet-friendly too.
Comfort, privacy, and good vibes just steps from the beach.
We like to party sometimes but we respect all guests by maintaining quiet hours between 11:00 pm and 6:00 am. If you want to keep it going, please take it to the beach area.
This is a smoke-free hostel! By law 9028 in Costa Rica, it’s forbidden to smoke inside hotels and restaurants. You can go outside the main gate or to the beach to smoke.
A refundable $20 security deposit will be collected in cash at the time of check-in. It covers an unforeseen event, like losing the key or checking out late.
In case you forgot something, we carry most toiletries at the reception

Bicycles to rent
Tours can be booked with reception even surfing lessons. Also transportation to/from anywhere in Costa Rica.
